Newsarama Preview and interview for the upcoming Leonardo Micro series
Next month will see the release of the 4th Ninja Turtles Micro series issue, this time focusing on Leonardo. The story will mark the first time the turtles will come face to face with the foot Clan.
Newsrama interviewed the micro series writer Brian Lynch and the talented artist Ross Campbel about this upcoming issue.
From the interview: ”
Nrama: In the solicits it says this issue will show the first-ever battle between the Turtles and the Foot Clan. What’s it like to plan out such a pivotal moment in the mythos?
Lynch: I couldn’t believe my luck. When we discussed the events, I kept waiting for my editors Bobby Curnow or Tom Waltz, or Nickelodeon to say “wait, maybe we should save this for the regular series.” It’s the moment when Luke Skywalker meets his first Storm Trooper. Except Leo’s cooler than Luke Skywalker. The whole issue has a weight to it that the others don’t, it’s an epic story.”

Review: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #8
Hitting store shelves today, the 8th issue of the ongoing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles continues the 2nd arc of this awesome reboot. So how is this issue compared to the last ones? Keep reading to find out.
ps: Beware, the following review contain some spoilers!
Story:
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #8 picks up right where the last issue ended. With the Turtles home being attacked by the infamous mousers robots whom are controlled by the sneaky mutant cat Old hob. The fight rages on, as the turtles are outnumbured by the wall munching robots. Hob’s intentions are clear, as Baxter stockman explained to an impatient general krang: Retrieving splinter to their labs in order to extract the mutagen, in its pure form, from his body. Baxter also explained the reason why he didn’t just extract the mutagen from Old Hob. The mutagen in his blood has been tainted by being exposed to the ground in the alley where the old cat first came in contact with the ooze.
Unhappy with Stockman’s slow progress, General Krang (who seems to be losing a battle with what appears to be a more serious and adult version of the neutrinos from the 4th episode of the original ninja turtles cartoon series) made it clear that failure will mean death for Baxter.

The upcoming Nickelodeon TMNT series: What we Know so far! Part 2
This coming fall, Nickelodeon will start airing the third TMNT animated series, dubbed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Not many details have been released officially regarding the series, so in an effort to inform you, ninja turtles fans, i gathered in this post all the information that i can find regarding the upcoming show.
Below is the second part of this series of articles, if you have not read Part 1 yet you can do so by clicking here.
The Allies:
April Oneil:
You cannot have a Ninja turtles show without April. In this series, Miss Oneil is neither a reporter in a yellow jumpsuit, nor a lab assistant to Baxter, instead she is a 16 years old teenager who lost her family and feels more comfortable with the turtles than with her high-school friends. According the to the producers, the reason behind April’s age change was due to the fact that it felt weird that a grown young woman will hang out with 15-16 years old boys (the turtles).
