IGN recaps the Nick TMNT panel from Comic con
The turles sure made their presence felt at this year’s Comic con. From giant displays and exclusive videos to dedicated panel. The folks at IGN attended the panel, and lived through to tell us what was it all about.
From the article: ” When Nieli pitched it, he focused on the mutagen and what it does. He also felt it was important to put the ninja facets into the show and not let the other stuff dilute it. It’s important to him to use Dimension X and keep the science fiction aspects in mind. And of course, there are some minor alterations to the characters fans know. April O’Neil is aged down to be 16; Nieli said they wanted her to match up more closely with the turtles and play on the same field. She’s really just another member of the team. Nieli also stated that Splinter is “taller, younger, and more agile so he can keep up with the turtles.” He’ll be going on missions and standing against Shredder.”

Nickelodeon launches Turtles vs Foot mobile App to celebrate the new show
To celebrate the reboot of the TNT on the small screen, and to promote the show on the currently ongoing San Diego Comic Con, Nickelodeon launched a mobile app titled Turtles vs Foot.
The App allows Comic Con attendees to join either the Turtles Clan or the evil Foot Clan, and then get a free hat. The application is available on both android and Iphone here: http://m.turtlesvsfoot.com/index-desktop.html

Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles to, officially, debut this Spetember
After releasing a great looking trailer, for their upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles, Nickelodeon just announced that the show will officially debut in the US on September 19th. The show is described as “Funnier and with more Ninjutsu than ever before, the show will explore the companionship of four teenage brothers learning to rely on themselves and one another as they unravel the mystery of their existence and grow to become the heroes in a half-shell that they are destined to be.”
The first season will consist of 26 episodes, and more season have already been green-lit. With the San diego Comic con taking place next week, expect more info and maybe some new footage from this new TMNT series.
