While the Ninja Turtles movie has been pushed back by Paramount Pictures and put into indifinite hiatus, astrange, scary, “leaked” synopsis of the movie reads like this:

“After their planet’s destruction, four turtle-like alien warriors and their master come to Earth, where they join forces with reporter April O’Neal to prevent the extradimensional conqueror Krang from enslaving the human race.” source

Another bit of news comes from Elmayimbe, a writer from latino-review.com (a site with proven credibility when it comes to leaking movie info) who has gotten an early copy of the movie script, mentions the following names: Krang, Bebop, Rocksteady, the technodrome and Dimension X (source here, here, and here)

Combining the two tidbits together (if both are true) you can get an idea about the movie. even though this idea might be a bit scary for old time fans of the turtles.

Oh, and i find it a bit of a necessity to post the below image, as it sure seems like the real truth:

Originally planned for a December 2013 release, the highly anticipated (and also controversial) Ninja Turtles movie reboot has been delayed.

While some sources report that the movie has been pushed until Summer 2014, others claim that the movie has been put on indefinite hold.

According to the Hollywood reporter, who broke the news, the reasons for the delay has to do with script issues. In fact the website claims that pre-production staff for the movie were all temporarily laid off.

This definitely does not sound good for the movie. And whether or not this has to do with the fans backlash towards the script premise (which stated the Turtles are now alien from another planet) remains to be seen.

UPDATE: According to Deadline, among the reason of the Ninja Turtles delay are budget cuts! It seems paramout has decreased the movie budget by 10-20 Million dollars making it $125 M. The site also claims that the movie’s new relase date is now May 2014

Vanilla Ice, the famous rapper from the early nineties, who TMNT fans know from his cameo in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II” The secret of the ooze, and his “Ninja Rap” Song, talked to MTV about wanting to appear in the upcoming movie reboot. Ice even shows his TMNT II tatoo check it out:

Over at the Boston comic con, one TMNT fan had the chance to ask Kevin Eastman, Co-creator of the Ninja Turtles franchise, about his thoughts on the Turtles being alien in the upcoming movie reboot.

Q: What are your thoughts on the turtles being aliens in the upcoming film? 

Eastman: “fans should check out issues #2-3 of the originals because there are possible hints that the turtles could be alien” 

While this is no confirmation to the fact that Turtles will be aliens in the movie, this does look like a hint that they actually are.

What do you folks think? And what quote in those issues, Eastman mentioned, hint at the turtles being Aliens.

Whether Kid Cudi is involved with the the upcoming movie remains to be seen. And while this still matches the alien turtles rumors, i sure hope it is not real. What do you folks think?

Kevin Eastman, the co-creator of the TMNT franchise, who is also heavily involved in the upcoming reboot of the Ninja Turtles movie, poked fun, today, at the alien turtles idea by posting the below picture:

For those you unaware of the creature in the picture, it is the famous ferocious alien race from the “aliens” movie franchise by Ridley Scott.

The rumor about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie reboot title has been confirmed by Michael. The movie will offivially be titled “Ninja Turtles” dropping both the words “Teenage” and “Mutant”. To explain the reasoning behind the title change, Michael Bay posted the below comment:

“Paramount marketing changed the name. They made the title simple. The characters you all remember are exactly the same, and yes they still act like teenagers. Everything you remember, why you liked the characters, is in the movie. This script is being developed by two very smart writers, with one of the original creators of Ninja Turtles. They care VERY MUCH about making this film for the fans. Everyone on this team cares about the fans. Just give them a chance. Jonathan the director, is a major fan of the whole franchise. HE’S NOT GOING TO LET YOU DOWN.

Last week was definitely marked by the negativity fans showed towards Michael Bay’ previous comments about the Turtles being from an alien race.
